Commitment to Our Students
In my 30 plus years as a public safety professional and martial artist I have had the pleasure and privilege of meeting, working with and learning from an array of great professionals to whom I am greatly indebted. I consider myself fortunate for these experiences; but nothing has given me more pleasure than to have become an instructor and have the opportunity to share my knowledge with others. Knowing that the information I share might have a positive impact on their lives is the objective that drives me. Seeing the enthusiasm on the faces of learners as they realize what they are capable of inspires me. I am also indebted to my students for what they have taught me as the learning process has been a two-way street.
My commitment is to show my students not what I can do but what they can do!
I am also committed to not letting the bullies win. People who use violence and fear to manipulate, coerce and terrorize others will not win. The meek shall inherit the earth. But the meek need not be weak.
